The Ohio Veterans Resource Navigator is provided by The American Legion Department of Ohio, Inc. to help veterans and families find official resources.
Information the public directory collects
The public resource directory does not require an account and does not ask users to submit names, claims information, health information, military records, precise location, contacts, photographs, or payment information. Search terms and county selections are used on the device to display relevant resources.
Links, calls, texts, email, and directions
The app links to websites and services operated by county, state, federal, nonprofit, and other third parties. When you open an external destination or use your device to call, text, email, or request directions, that provider and your device may process information under their own privacy policies. The American Legion Department of Ohio, Inc. does not receive the contents of those communications through this directory.
Technical operation
Hosting providers may process limited technical information—such as an IP address, device or browser type, request time, and error information—to securely deliver and protect the service. The app does not use that information for advertising and does not sell personal information.
Staff administration
The staff-only resource administration area is separate from the public directory and requires authorized access. Authorized staff actions may be recorded for security, publishing, and accountability.
Children and sensitive information
The directory is intended for a general audience and is not designed to collect personal information from children. Do not submit benefits claims, medical information, Social Security numbers, military records, or other sensitive information through a website contact channel unless the receiving organization specifically instructs you to use a secure method.
